What is this suppose too meann?

it represents the fragility of friendship. Once you get too close you can break something that can be beautiful. If you recede too far the beauty will fly away. The eyes on the butterflies wings symbolise the truth about the pain they have seen.

I see this in a way that when you get close to someone the butterfly representing your souls becomes marked, and no matter how hard you try to unmark it you just can’t. That butterfly will be marked forever by the joining of those two people.
